About the role
Justteachers is seeking an enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to support a busy secondary school in Brighouse.
The school has a strong focus on behaviour for learning and student engagement, where pupils are encouraged to meet high expectations.
This is a long‑term supply role starting ASAP.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students in the classroom across KS3 and KS4.
- Work with individuals and small groups to support learning and engagement.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.
- Promote positive behaviour and support pupils’ wellbeing.
Pre‑requisites
- Experience working with secondary‑aged pupils.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of safeguarding procedures.
