About the role: Justteachers is seeking a full‑time Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant specialist primary school starting ASAP in the Brighouse area to cover on a long‑term basis. This specialist setting provides a nurturing and structured environment for pupils with additional needs, focusing on personalised support, therapeutic approaches, and holistic development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assist in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions suited to individual needs
- Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and social development in line with EHCP targets
Pre‑requisites:
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent)
- Proven experience supporting pupils with SEN, ideally within a specialist or primary setting
- Strong knowledge of SEN strategies, behaviour management, and inclusive practice
- Two education or school-based references
