Justteachers is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Teacher to join a well‑established primary school in Bradford and work within their onsite specialist provision. This is a full-time, long-term role starting in September 2026, supporting a small group of pupils with a range of SEND needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a nurturing, structured, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. You will work closely with support staff, the SENCO, and the wider school team to deliver tailored learning that meets the individual needs of each pupil.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised learning plans to meet the needs of pupils with SEND
  • Create a safe and supportive classroom environment for a small group setting
  • Work collaboratively with SENCO, support staff, and external professionals
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of learning and behavioural needs
  • Monitor and record pupil progress in line with school policies
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to EHCP reviews and ongoing SEND planning

Pre-requisites

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Full-time availability from September 2026
  • Experience working with SEND pupils, ideally within a primary setting
  • Strong behaviour management and nurturing approach
  • Ability to differentiate learning for a range of needs
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
  • A positive, resilient, and child‑centred attitude
