Justteachers are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and skilled Year 4 Teacher to support one of our partner primary schools in Bradford. This is a full-time maternity cover running for the entire 2026–2027 academic year, beginning in September 2026. The school is looking for an experienced and committed practitioner who can deliver high-quality teaching and contribute positively to the school community.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a Year 4 class, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that support pupils’ academic, personal, and social development.
Your role will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum
- Creating a positive, structured, and stimulating learning environment
- Assessing pupils’ progress and maintaining accurate records
- Preparing pupils for the transition into Upper Key Stage 2
- Working collaboratively with the KS2 team, support staff, and senior leaders
- Establishing strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Upholding the school’s behaviour, safeguarding, and inclusion policies
Pre-requisites:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Have proven experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 4
- Be confident in delivering a broad and balanced primary curriculum
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Be creative, reflective, and committed to high-quality teaching
- Be reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team
