About the role:
Justteachers are looking for a committed Cover Supervisor to join a Secondary School on the outskirts of Bradford. We are looking for an individual who is confident, adaptable and passionate about supporting young people. The successful Cover Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining high quality learning across the school. We require someone to start as soon as possible however working days are flexible each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials to classes across a range of subjects
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Support students to stay on task and make progress
- Supervise students during non-teaching times when required
- Work closely with teaching staff and the wider school team
Pre-requisites:
- Have experience working with young people (in schools, youth work, coaching, tutoring, etc.)
- Are confident managing groups and communicating clearly
- Stay calm, positive, and professional under pressure
- Are flexible and willing to work across different subjects and year groups
- Are enthusiastic about helping students succeed
Two references with one relating to working with children or young people.
