About the role:
Justteachers are supporting a primary school in Fagley to appoint a level 2 Teaching Assistant to support in their provision for additional needs in September 2026 on a full-time and long-term basis.
The provision supports a range of needs including autism ranging from non-verbal to highly verbal with twelve students accessing the provision. The Teaching Assistant will work alongside four staff in the provision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with all children in the provision give 1:1 support where required
- Assist with planning and delivering targeted interventions
- Build a trusted and positive relationship with the pupil
- Follow EHCPs
Pre-requisites:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant
- Experience working with EHCPs
- A calm, patient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for education and child development
- Two school-based references
