Justteachers are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a vibrant and inclusive school community in Bradford from September 2026. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a real impact by supporting teaching and learning across a range of age groups and subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching and learning across the curriculum
- Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the teacher
- Lead targeted interventions for small groups or individual pupils
- Assist in the assessment and tracking of pupil progress
- Provide pastoral support and promote positive behaviour
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to meet pupils’ needs
- Contribute to the development of classroom resources and displays
Pre-requisites:
- HLTA status or equivalent qualification
- Experience working in a school setting, ideally across Key Stages
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
