About the role: Justteachers are recruiting for enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors and Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of primary and secondary schools in Bradford. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise whole classes during teacher absences
- Ensure a safe, positive, and productive learning environment
- Support individual students or small groups with their learning
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Assist with preparation of learning materials and classroom setup
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
- Build positive relationships with students and school staff
Pre-requisites:
- Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based or similar setting preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident classroom presence and ability to manage behaviour
- Flexible and adaptable approach to working in different schools
- A genuine passion for education and supporting student development
- Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
