About the role: Justteachers are currently recruiting for a dynamic Art Teacher to work in a vibrant school setting in Bradford. We also welcome applications from experienced Cover Teachers with a strong specialism in Art and a proven track record of delivering engaging art lessons. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons that engage and inspire students
- Teach a range of artistic techniques, media, and styles
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support students’ creative development and confidence
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment opportunities where appropriate
Pre-requisites
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, but not essential for experienced Cover Teachers
- Proven experience teaching Art in a school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for creativity and expression
- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- A flexible and proactive approach to teaching
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Relevant degree or qualification in Art or a related subject is desirable
