About the role:
Justteachers are working with a Bradford based Secondary School to appoint an Art and Design Teacher to start in September 2026; however, an early start is available. This is a full-time and long-term role which will become permanent with the school. The school services a welcoming and diverse school community and provides access to modern art and design facilities and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire creativity and critical thinking to KS4
- Support students in developing technical skills across a range of media
- Prepare pupils for GCSE
- Contribute to extra-curricular activities such as art clubs, exhibitions, and trips
- Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the wider curriculum
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the arts
- Experience teaching Art & Design at secondary level
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to inclusive and student-centred learning
- Two school-based references
