About the role:
Justteachers are supporting a primary school in Fagley to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 student with a EHCP starting in September 2026 on a full and long-term basis.
The school are looking for a resilient individual who has experience working with challenging behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the child on a 1:1 basis
- Assist with planning and delivering targeted interventions
- Build a trusted and positive relationship with the pupil
- Follow the student’s EHCP
Pre-requisites:
- Experience working with EHCPs
- A calm, patient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for education and child development
- Two school-based references
