justteachers are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a large and well-established primary school in Bourne. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity starting in September 2026, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about supporting children through the early stages of Key Stage 1. You will play a key role in helping pupils transition from EYFS into more structured learning, delivering engaging and creative lessons to support their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
- Support pupils’ transition from EYFS into Year 1
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have recent experience teaching in KS1 (Year 1 desirable)
