About the role:
We are seeking an inspiring Teacher of Art to join a large Secondary Academy in the centre of Boston, this is a September 2026 vacancy which has potential of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming and supportive school, that offer continuous CPD and training to all staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver KS3 and KS4 Art
- Support the academic and personal growth of students, ensuring their progression in Art
- Assessment of students’ progress to be reported to your line manager
- Working as part of a team within the department
- Provide a safe learning environment
Pre-requisites:
- Recent experience teaching Art to KS3 and or KS4.
- Be able to supply at least 2 education/school based references
- Candidate must hold a teaching qualification: qualified teacher status (QTS) or qualified teacher learning and skills (QTLS) or newly qualified teacher status (ECT)
- Strong behavior Management
- A passion for your subject
