About the role: justteachers are recruiting for a Humanities Teacher to join a welcoming secondary academy in Boston. The role is due to commence after the Easter break and will be on long-term supply. You will be covering either Geography or History to KS4. With excellent sports and extracurricular facilities, staff can lead activities that enrich pupils’ skills and confidence beyond the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach KS3 and KS4 History and/or Geography, with potential for KS5 depending on experience
  • Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire a love of learning
  • Contribute to the wider Humanities department and school community

Pre-requisites:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Ability to provide 2 education or school based references
  • Specialism in either History or Geography with strong subject knowledge
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Experience teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4
