About the role: justteachers is seeking a dedicated and resilient 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil at a welcoming mainstream primary school in Boston. Due to start as soon as possible, this will be a long term placement for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent, structured support throughout the school day
- Implement strategies outlined in the pupil’s EHCP
- Help the pupil remain engaged and access learning
- Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Pre-requisites:
- Have experience supporting children with challenging behaviour or additional needs
- Be calm, patient, and resilient with strong behaviour management skills
- Hold a clear Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
- Be able to build positive relationships and work effectively as part of a team
