About the role:
justteachers is working closely with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Boston area who are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long‑term, full‑time basis from September 2026.
This role involves providing 1:1 support to an EYFS‑aged pupil with profound and complex learning needs, within a nurturing and well‑supported early years setting. The school has a strong commitment to inclusion and offers excellent support from experienced SEN staff and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting an EYFS pupil with profound and complex learning needs.
- Implementing personalised support strategies in line with EHCP objectives.
- Supporting learning, communication, sensory needs and emotional regulation.
- Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external professionals.
- Creating a safe, calm and supportive environment where the pupil can thrive.
Pre‑requisites:
- Experience supporting children with complex or profound SEN, ideally within EYFS.
- A calm, patient and compassionate approach with strong consistency.
- Confidence working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Two recent references and an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
