About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a cover supervisor, who is looking for a long term role in a Secondary school in the Blackburn area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2026, with shortlisting currently underway.

Key Skills and Attributes:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of teaching staff
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Ensuring pupils remain focused and engaged with set work
- Providing instructions and clarifying tasks where required
- Recording attendance and reporting any concerns
- Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment
- Supporting pupils to complete assigned work independently
- Providing clear handover feedback to teaching staff
Pre-requisites:
- Previous UK secondary school experience
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to lead lessons independently
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred
