About the role: Justteachers are recruiting a passionate and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Bradford. This full-time role begins immediately and will run through to July, with the potential for extension for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured Psychology lessons at KS4 and KS5.
- Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with curriculum and exam board requirements.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
- Track, monitor, and report on student attainment and progress.
- Provide constructive feedback to support academic development.
- Contribute to departmental planning, moderation, and curriculum development.
- Support students with exam preparation and revision sessions.
- Attend relevant meetings, CPD sessions, and contribute to the wider school community.
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Psychology at KS4 and/or KS5.
- Proven ability to plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons.
- Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two school-based references.
