About the role:
Justteachers are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher for a vibrant secondary school in Bradford, starting September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a creative and dynamic department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Music lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
- Plan lessons in line with the national curriculum and scheme of work
- Inspire students through practical and theory-based music education
- Organise and support extracurricular activities such as choirs, bands or performances
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress effectively
- Maintain a positive classroom environment with strong behaviour management
- Contribute to departmental planning and school events
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Degree in Music or a related subject
- Experience teaching Music in a UK secondary school
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Passion for music and ability to engage and motivate students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
