About the role:
Justteachers is working in partnership with a secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a dedicated and skilled Maths Teacher for an immediate start, continuing until the end of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Maths teacher to join a supportive school environment and make a real impact on pupils’ progress and attainment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Assess, monitor and record student progress effectively
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of pupils with mixed abilities
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school staff
- Maintain high expectations for achievement, behaviour and engagement
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
- Ability to start immediately and commit until the end of the academic year
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
