Justteachers are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Health and Social Care Teacher to join a supportive Bradford secondary school/college starting immediately and continuing until the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lessons across KS4–KS5 following the Health and Social Care curriculum
- Plan, prepare and assess work to ensure strong progress for all learners
- Differentiating teaching to meet a range of learning needs and abilities
- Maintain excellent classroom management and create a positive learning environment
- Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback and intervention where needed
- Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and wider school initiatives
Pre-requisites
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Health and Social Care at KS4 and/or KS5
- Strong subject knowledge of topics such as human lifespan development, health promotion, care values, and working in health/social care settings
- A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Ability to start immediately and commit to the full duration of the placement
- Two school based references
