Justteachers are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Bradford area. This is an immediate start position running through to the end of the academic year, with the potential for extension for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with curriculum requirements
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student progress
- Use a range of teaching strategies to inspire curiosity and deepen geographical understanding
- Monitor and track pupil achievement, providing feedback to support development
- Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and wider school life
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding at all times
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge in Geography and confidence teaching KS3-KS4
- Experience working in UK secondary schools
- A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- Two school based references
