About the role:
Justteachers are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Bradford from September 2026. This is a temporary position until Christmas, with the strong possibility of being extended through to the end of the academic year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring students are supported and challenged to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons
- Teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Follow school policies on behaviour management and safeguarding
- Contribute to departmental planning and resources where required
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Computer Science in a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for ICT/Computer Science
- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Two school based references
