About the role:
Justteachers are working with a Shipley based Primary School to appoint a HLTA with a PE specialism to start as soon as possible. This role is 25 hours per week working Monday – Friday 10am – 3.30pm.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for PE across all year groups
- Assist the teacher in all aspects of lesson planning and planning of other learning activities
- Performallocatedtasks with limited supervision using professional discretion whererequired
- Assistin the management of pupils in the learning environment.
- Implementation of Individual Education Plans and Personal Care Programmes
- Set challenging and demanding expectations, employ strategies to recognise and reward achievement of self-reliance whilst promoting self-esteem
- Encourage pupils to act independently, working co-operatively and interacting with others
Pre-requisites:
- Experience delivering PE / sport lessons
- Experience of delivering education to pupils in small group or classroom settings
- Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age e.g. voluntary organisation or parental/caring responsibilities.
- Minimum of GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
- Level 4 NVQ/T-Level for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or educated to graduate level.
