About the role:
justteachers are seeking a warm and enthusiastic Reception Class Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and forward-thinking primary school in Alcester. This full-time role involves working closely with the Reception class teacher to deliver engaging activities, support individual learning needs, and help maintain a safe and stimulating classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of EYFS curriculum through play-based and structured activities
- Assist with phonics, early maths, and language development
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
- Help with classroom setup, tidying, and resource preparation
Pre-requisites:
- Level 2 or higher teaching assistant qualification or equivalent (Must be relevant to working with children)
- Proven experience working with children in a school or relevant setting (That can be referenced)
- A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
