A welcoming and supportive primary school in Alcester is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a short term supply basis from September.

Role: Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching and learning within the classroom alongside the class teacher
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to help pupils make progress
- Assist with lesson preparation, resource organisation, and classroom management
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a calm, inclusive learning environment
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Pre-requisites:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working within a primary school setting
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, flexible approach
- Ability to provide two school‑based or education‑related references
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
