About the role Justteachers is recruiting for a 1:1 teaching assistant to deliver SEN support in a primary school in Warwick.

This full‑time role will start in September 2026 and will run until the end of the academic year, working in KS1.

The role will involve supporting a child in with a range of additional needs.

The school is a single‑form entry setting, with a relatively small cohort meaning one class per year group.

The school upholds a strong standard of education, with dedicated staff who deliver engaging lessons and foster a positive attitude towards learning among pupils.

Key Responsibilities Deliver consistent 1:1 support aligned with the pupil’s individual learning, behaviour, and care needs Apply positive behaviour approaches, including de‑escalation and structured routines, to support emotional regulation Track and support academic progress in close collaboration with the class teacher Pre‑requisites A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience in an educational or care setting.

Experience working 1:1 with children with additional needs.
