We are looking to recruit a Handy Person to join our team here in Hertfordshire on a permanent basis.

About The Role

Working to deliver the best quality service, carrying out responsive and planned repairs to both occupied and void properties. You will undertake a range of basic repairs and installations of windows, doors, ironmongery, benches, planters, decking, fencing etc. Tasks also include setting up shelving, curtain battens/poles, damp and mould washes, upgrading loft insulation, and other related duties.

About You

Candidates will be organised and able to provide accurate records of jobs completed. Previous experience as a handyperson is required, carrying out general plumbing and carpentry tasks, delivering repairs and operating small handheld plant such as drills and breakers. Ideally you will hold a trade related qualification. You must be customer focused with experience of working in both occupied and void properties within the social housing industry. You should hold a valid CSCS Card and a valid full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months.
