Just Rigging & Inspections Scotland Ltd is looking for a motivated and professional LOLER Mechanical Inspector to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across the entertainment, events, education, industrial, and public sectors, carrying out inspections and examinations of lifting equipment, entertainment rigging systems, height safety equipment, and other safety critical systems.
Base location: Cambuslang, Glasgow. Full time, permanent. Competitive salary dependent on experience and qualifications. Travel throughout the UK.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct thorough examinations and inspections in accordance with LOLER.
- Produce inspection reports, certification records, and technical recommendations.
- Identify defects, wear, damage, and non‑compliant equipment.
- Carry out fault finding and condition assessments.
- Build strong relationships with clients across the UK.
- Support compliance with LOLER, PUWER, and industry best practice standards.
We’re Looking For
- Experience with lifting equipment, rigging equipment, height safety systems, or related mechanical equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault finding skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK and stay away when required.
Desirable Qualifications
- LEEA qualifications.
- LOLER thorough examination experience.
- IPAF.
- PASMA.
- Experience within the entertainment and events industry.
