Just Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established and growing business in Witham looking to add a Commercial Assistant to their team. Reporting to the Managing Surveyor and Head of Operations, you will support the commercial management of projects from pre-contract through to final account. You will play a key role in cost control, contract administration, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and in line with contractual requirements. The company actively supports progression and will provide learning opportunities and full training to the successful candidate.
Duties include:
- Attend meetings and undertake site visits.
- Prepare and submit valuations to live contracts.
- Assist in the administration and negotiation of final accounts.
- Support contract administration and cost control procedures.
- Identify and help manage commercial risks and opportunities.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally.
- Act in the best commercial interests of the business at all times.
