Just Recruitment is working with a well established business, looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative on a full time permanent basis on the outskirts of Beccles. This is a great opportunity to join a fabulous, long standing team with a positive work environment.
The key purpose of this role is to handle goods within the warehouse, ensuring they are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently.
Key duties and Responsibilities:
- Unload goods from delivery vehicles, verify delivery documents, check for discrepancies in quantities or damages.
- Store product in designated areas, ensuring they are properly labelled, scanned and stored in an organised manner.
- Perform inventory controls using scanners or computer systems to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Accurately pick cartons according to customer orders, pack them securely for delivery, and load them onto delivery vehicles.
- Use warehouse equipment such as Very Narrow Aisle trucks, Counter Balance, Reach, Power Pallet forklifts and hand pallet trucks to move goods safely and efficiently.
- Work as part of a team to complete tasks and ensure the smooth operation of warehouse activities.
- This role does include some manual handling and requirement to undergo further training for some of the specialist equipment - you need to be comfortable working at height!
Working hours are Monday to Friday - 8am - 5:30pm.
