Shift Production Operator

The Just Recruitment Group Ltd is currently recruiting for a Shift Production Operator for a manufacturer, based in Witham, Essex.

Our client is looking for a responsible, proactive individual to join a small team.

The job is shift work across seven days, and involves operating food manufacturing machinery, updating paper records and some IT data input, cleaning responsibilities and does involve a high degree of solo working.

Responsibilities will include:
Operating filling equipment, cooler and product storage plant
Liaison with staff to determine availability of raw materials
Movement of product to final store
Sampling of product
General cleanliness of production areas, conveying equipment, coolers etc.
Record keeping in line with quality procedures

Experience in production line operations in the food and beverage sector and knowledge of HACCP would be advantageous.
