The Just Recruitment Group Ltd is currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join our clients Quality Management team, based in Halstead, Essex.
Role will involve:
- Working to assure the quality of product fulfils project requirements
- Monitoring quality of internally and externally manufactured components
- Internal and customer 8D compilation
- Customer visits to review quality performance
- Working with suppliers on quality issues to prevent reoccurrence and to help drive down supplier PPM
- Gathering and analysing key production quality data and acting on trends
- Maintenance of the Scorecards and associated monitoring systems
- Actively partake in any NPI or Process FMEA activities relating to Quality Assurance
Essential criteria:
- Proven background in Quality Assurance
- Knowledge and awareness of quality procedures
- Awareness of AS9100 or ISO 9001
- Good knowledge of Quality tools and 8D methodology
- Internal Auditor qualified or willing to undertake training
- Be able to produce accurate documentation
- Be organised and motivated
- Be capable of working as part of a team
- Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work at all levels of the organisation
- Aware of manufacturing processes and Lean Manufacturing principles
- Clear understanding and interpretation of Engineering drawings
- Good computer skills
