Just Recruitment is working with a growing manufacturing business on the outskirts of Halstead - they are looking to add a Warehouse Operative to their team.

The key purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of goods across the warehouse and site.

From receiving raw materials to dispatching finished products, you will help maintain accurate stock control, support production needs, and ensure all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line quality and compliance standards.

This is a permanent role ideally working on a rotating shift pattern, but candidates either looking for early or late shift only can be considered.

You will operate warehouse and material handling equipment, including forklifts and reach trucks, in line with training, health & safety regulations.

Manage goods-in and goods-out activities, including checking deliveries, inspecting product quality, preparing shipments, and ensuring accurate, timely dispatch.

Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation, promote safe working practices, and report hazards or issues in line with site procedures.

Communicate effectively with warehouse colleagues, production teams, transport providers, and suppliers to ensure smooth daily operations.

Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance warehouse processes, efficiency, and ways of working.

To be considered for this role

You must have experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting, with confidence handling goods and following procedures.

You will be detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable using systems to manage inventory and documentation accurately.

You must take health and safety seriously, work well as part of a team, and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Experience operating forklifts or reach trucks and using SAP or warehouse management systems is beneficial, but training can be provided where required.
