Just Recruitment is working with a growing manufacturing organisation based on the outskirt of Sudbury - they are looking to add a General Production Operator to their team. The key purpose of this role is to play an important role in the day-to-day running of production operations. You will be responsible for safely operating basic machinery, supporting production line activities, and helping ensure our products consistently meet high quality standards. This is a permanent role ideally working on a rotating shift pattern, but candidates either looking for early or late shifts only can be considered.
In this role, you will support the safe and efficient operation of the production area, ensuring machinery and production lines run smoothly while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and teamwork.
- Safely operate basic production machinery, in line with standard operating procedures.
- Support the set-up, operation, and ongoing monitoring of production lines, carrying out basic visual quality checks.
- Follow all health, safety, and other business requirements while working closely with colleagues to achieve production targets.
