The Just Recruitment Group is working with a well-regarded business, based in Witham - actively recruiting for a 7.5T Driver.
Duties include:
- Carry out daily vehicle checks as required using correct documentation in accordance with Company policy and process.
- Inform Directors of any defects as soon as possible.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Road Transport Legislation using analogue and digital tachograph equipment and relevant company reporting procedures.
- Ensure time sheets are accurate with all relevant information, identifying breaks and driving/duty times accordingly and compliant with Driver hours.
- Driving duties will require overnight stays away from home due to long distance driving (i.e. Scotland). There is recompense for these overnight stays which is paid per company policy.
Person Specification:
- Driving Experience, including:
- Full UK Driving licence (inc. 7.5 tonne vehicles).
- Must be Driver Certificate of Professional Competence qualified (Driver CPC qualification for professional lorry drivers).
