Just Recruitment is working with a well established business, looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative on a full time permanent basis on the outskirts of Beccles. This is a great opportunity to join a fabulous, long standing team with a positive work environment.
The key purpose of this role is to handle goods within the warehouse, ensuring they are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently.
Key duties and Responsibilities:- Unload goods from delivery vehicles, verify delivery documents, check for discrepancies in quantities or damages.
- Store product in designated areas, ensuring they are properly labelled, scanned and stored in an organised manner.
- Perform inventory controls using scanners or computer systems to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Accurately pick cartons according to customer orders, pack them securely for delivery, and load them onto delivery vehicles.
- Use warehouse equipment such as Very Narrow Aisle trucks, Counter Balance, Reach, Power Pallet forklifts and hand pallet trucks to move goods safely and efficiently.
- Work as part of a team to complete tasks and ensure the smooth operation of warehouse activities.
This role does include some manual handling and requirement to undergo further training for some of the specialist equipment - you need to be comfortable working at height!
Working hours are Monday to Friday - 8am - 5:30pm and due to the business location you need to have access to your own transport and free, secure parking is provided.
