This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy operations team where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth coordination of daily collections and deliveries.
Working closely with the Transport Manager and drivers, you'll help deliver an efficient, responsive, and high-quality service while managing day-to-day operational activity.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate daily waste collections and delivery rounds
- Plan, schedule and optimise service routes
- Maintain real-time communication with drivers via Microsoft Teams and phone
- Work closely with the Transport Manager to manage driver workloads
- Manage live service changes and resolve issues
- Act as a key point of contact for drivers
- Process customer orders and handle service queries
- Liaise with internal teams including Transport, Accounts and Site Operations
- Keep CRM and systems up to date
