The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of warehouse operations, ensuring customer expectations and site standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating Counterbalance Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently
- Carrying out daily FLT checks and reporting any defects or failures
- Ensuring stock rotation is completed in line with site procedures
- Reporting damaged goods or equipment promptly
- Completing pre-loading vehicle inspections
- Loading vehicles carefully to prevent product damage
- Maintaining effective communication with hauliers and management
- Following escalation procedures for any operational issues or non-compliance
- Ensuring all visitors and personnel adhere to site HSE procedures
- Ensuring all dispatched products are accompanied by the correct documentation
- Maintaining high standards of health safety at all times
Skills Experience Required
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence is essential
- Full UK driving licence is required
