The Just Recruitment Group Ltd is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer, with a mechanical bias for an engineering company based in Halstead, Essex.

Working hours: 40 per week, Monday - Friday, 7.45 am to 4.15 pm. Flexibility to work on a Saturday when required (overtime rate applies).

Your role will be to support the smooth running of the factory, resolving breakdowns and delivering planned maintenance. Alongside this, you will drive improvements across the site, introducing new machinery and ensuring quality and performance are maximised.

  • Multi-skilled engineer with a mechanical bias.
  • Experience of working in a proactive engineering role within a maintenance department.
  • Competent knowledge and skill with both mechanical elements and some electrical elements of equipment and machinery.
  • Metalwork, welding and fabrication experience.
  • A forklift licence would be an advantage.
  • Full UK driving licence.
