Production Planner in Essex

The Just Recruitment Group Ltd is currently recruiting for a Production Planner for their client based in Braintree, Essex. Role will focus on: * Liaising with production personnel and customer services/sales departments. * Estimating material usage and arranging sub contract engineering services. * Review/implement routes of manufacture. * Estimate machining/manufacturing times required for each production operation. * Produce route cards, works orders and requisitions for manufacture. * Developing a strong understanding of organisation's structure, policies and processes, recommending appropriate solutions and improvements. * Helping in the continuous improvement of ERP processes. * Contributing to the ERP frequency-based activities, such as month-end processing, annual reporting and data maintenance. Essentials: * Fully computer literate and have experience of using Microsoft office packages, training will be provided on bespoke in house systems. * Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with multi discipline departments. * Customer focused attitude.
