JustPhysio are looking to recruit a band 7 Community Paediatric Physiotherapist for a locum position with our client in London. The pay for this position is GBP25 - GBP30 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-year post-graduate experience
  • Right to work in the UK
  • HCPC registration

Responsibilities

  • Deliver highly specialist and targeted physiotherapy interventions for children aged 0-5 with developmental, orthopaedic and complex health needs.
  • Hold a clinical caseload and have managerial and service development responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with Band 7 children’s physiotherapists and the lead for physiotherapy to develop services for babies, children and young people across the wider service.
  • Hold overall responsibility for a caseload of children and manage/support Band 6 and ancillary staff to develop their skills.
  • Be involved in running orthotics clinics and take a lead in orthotic prescription and tuning.
  • Directly deliver highly specialist physiotherapy and MDT assessments and care packages to children with complex needs.
  • Conduct joint assessments and develop integrated packages of care with community paediatricians and other AHP and interagency staff.
  • Demonstrate broad technical knowledge of paediatric assessment and treatment options, underpinned by a compassionate approach when interacting with children and their families.
  • Liaise and negotiate with colleagues in other agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
