We are building the AI home assistant that will manage every aspect of your home; from the moment you move in, forever. Jay, our AI agent, already helps thousands of movers navigate energy, insurance, broadband, and home services. Now we need a product leader who can take us from promising early traction to global market leadership in Agentic Commerce. This isn’t a 'maintain the roadmap' role. This is a 'define what AI-native product management looks like' role. You’ll be building the playbook that the industry will study in five years.
Why This Matters Now
The home services market is a £1 trillion opportunity undergoing a once-in-a-generation platform shift. Comparison sites had their moment. Marketplaces had theirs. The next wave is agentic: AI that doesn’t just show you options, but acts on your behalf. We have contractual access to a material part of UK home moves. We have deep partnerships with the biggest names in property. We have a working AI agent. What we need now is the product leader who can convert this distribution advantage into market dominance.
What You’ll Own
- Short-term: Majority of our audience buying a product/subscribing
- The P&L: Own the commercial performance of our digital product across all categories (Energy, Bills, Broadband, Insurance). You’re accountable for the full stack of outcomes: (1) exceptional customer experience, (2) commercial results that hit targets, and (3) velocity that compounds our learning advantage.
- The Team: Lead our product function, working alongside our Design Lead, Head of Engineering/AI, and cross-functional squads. Build and mentor the PM team as we scale.
- The Roadmap: Own the prioritisation across AI, consumer, & B2B.
- The Transformation: Drive our shift to AI-native product development. We don’t want PMs who write tickets, we want conductors who define outcomes and enable AI to accelerate everything in between.
In the First 90 Days
- Deeply understand Jay’s current capabilities, the user journey from partner handoff to conversion, and where we’re losing users in the funnel.
- Ship improvements to our Agentic Commerce platform, our highest-leverage initiative for hitting the conversion target.
- Establish your operating rhythm with Design and Engineering: weekly rituals, decision frameworks, and accountability structures.
- Build a culture of empowered teams, not feature factories.
- Develop a clear view of unit economics across categories. Know where we’re making money, where we’re leaking value, and where the biggest commercial opportunities lie.
- Begin hiring your first PM (we’ll support, but you own the bar).
What Success Looks Like
- 3 months: We’ve hit market leading % conversion. Customers are happy. The team trusts your judgment. Investors are excited about our metrics. Category P&Ls are understood and improving.
- 12 months: Multiple commerce journeys are live and performing. We’ve expanded into adjacent categories. The product org is humming. You’ve hired at least one PM who’s shipping independently. We’re either raising a Series B or are profitable.
- 24 months: You’ve either grown into a VP role as we scale, or you’re leading product alongside a peer who owns consumer AI/commerce.
You Might Be Right If
- You’ve owned P&L outcomes, not just shipped features.
- You’ve been accountable for revenue, conversion, or margin at a portfolio or category level.
- You understand that great product is necessary but not sufficient; it has to work for the business too.
- You’ve led product in a B2C or B2B2C environment and personally shipped features that moved revenue metrics. Ideally in a fast paced ecommerce/marketplace consumer product used and loved by millions of people.
- You understand the complexities of supplier/partner integrations and developing real time products/pricing inventory.
- You’ve built and managed PM teams (even small ones); you know the difference between hiring right and hiring fast.
- You’re obsessive about the user journey. You’ve personally watched session recordings, run customer interviews, and made decisions based on real behaviour.
- You can context-switch between strategy and execution: you’re comfortable in the boardroom and in Figma.
- You ship fast. You have a bias toward action. You’d rather ship something imperfect and learn than debate the perfect solution.
- You understand that velocity is a competitive advantage.
- You’re genuinely excited about AI: Not as hype, but as a tool that fundamentally changes how products are built and how users experience them.
- You’ve operated in early-stage or high-growth environments where resources were constrained and judgment mattered more than process.
You’re Probably Not Right If
- You need a large team to feel effective: we’re lean and you’ll be hands-on.
- You prefer stable environments with clear swim lanes; things move fast and ambiguity is constant.
- You see AI as 'someone else’s job'; here, everyone is an AI practitioner.
- You optimise for consensus over velocity; we move fast, disagree openly, and commit fully.
- You’re uncomfortable owning P&L outcomes. If you prefer to focus on product craft and let someone else worry about commercial performance, this isn’t the role.
How We Work
- Empowered teams: We give teams problems to solve, not features to build. We’re accountable for outcomes, not output. This is the Marty Cagan model: discovery and delivery, not roadmap administration.
- Commercial ownership: Product owns P&L. We’re not just the voice of the customer; we’re also the voice of the business. Great customer experience and strong commercial performance aren’t trade-offs. They’re both required.
- Design-centric: The user sits at the center of every decision. Design leads the experience; Product ensures we’re solving the right problems at the right time.
- AI-native: We don’t just build with AI; we build for AI. Our codebase is being designed for agents. Our PMs should use AI tools daily. Our thinking starts with 'what would this look like if AI did it?'
- Build out loud: Work is transparent. We share early, critique often, and iterate publicly. No disappearing into black boxes.
- Velocity obsessed: Speed is a feature. We bias toward shipping, learning, and iterating over planning, debating, and perfecting.
The Details
Competitive salary + meaningful equity (we want you to own what you build). Hybrid in London (we value face-time for collaboration, but trust you to manage your work). You’ll work closely with our Design Lead, Head of Engineering/AI, and a team of engineers and AI specialists who are genuinely excellent, and have worked on brands like Uber, Apple, Match Group, Microsoft, Google and Meta.
