About the Role
We are an official operations partner of Lime, London's leading micromobility platform. We are a field operations company delivering services on behalf of leading micromobility in London. We are looking for an Operations Associate to join our small team and take day-to-day ownership of our driver operations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable managing people and logistics simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Driver Recruitment and Onboarding
- Conduct driver interviews and manage the onboarding process end to end
- Oversee completion of registration forms and contract signing
- Deliver driver training and ensure all documentation is in order
- For battery drivers, confirm that required equipment such as crates is in place before deployment
- Driver Performance and Retention
- Monitor new drivers closely during their first week, gathering feedback and assessing engagement
- Track the ongoing performance of active drivers, ensuring tasks are completed correctly and on time
- Ensure retrieval and move drivers are dispatched to their designated zones daily
- Monitor big van driver schedules for retrieval and move shifts, verifying task completion
- Driver Support and Communication
- Act as the first point of contact for driver questions and issues, resolving them efficiently
- Investigate and resolve driver-related issues raised by the client
- Send group announcements promptly, including time-sensitive operational updates such as depot closures or zone changes
- Shift Planning and Coordination
- Prepare daily and weekly shift schedules for move, swap, and retrieval operations
- Coordinate driver deployment to specific zones as directed by the client
- Maintain order and structure within the battery operation at the depot
- Fleet and Depot Management
- Manage van handovers and collections
- Arrange vehicle maintenance by coordinating with the mechanic when required
- Transport damaged batteries to the client or organise for this to be done
- Resolve day-to-day issues arising at the depot
- Compliance and Administration
- Track penalty charge notices (PCNs) issued to company vehicles
- Notify the relevant driver and ensure fines are correctly applied to their invoices
What We Are Looking For
- Some experience in logistics, field operations, or a coordination role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
- Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Ability to respond quickly to time-sensitive situations
- Full UK driving licence, or a firm commitment to obtaining one
- Fluent English is essential
- Turkish language skills are a strong advantage
