Position Overview

Leep Talent is a market leader in the delivery of Skills Bootcamps and has in the last 18 months successfully started delivering Adult Skills Funding contracts. Together they form our Adult Skills provision within our Training department. This role, alongside the Service Delivery Director, are the most senior roles within the department, and reporting to the CIO, they are critical to the overall success of the provisions. This role is responsible for all commercial delivery across Learner Engagement, Progressions and Talent. Leading these teams of approximately 30-35 employees, you will have accountability for ensuring the successful delivery of our Adult Skills contracts and the growth of our Talent (Perm) teams. You will support the CIO in managing our contracts, most of which are time sensitive, so this person will need to know how to work quickly and efficiently – when identifying problems, they are able to work with key people to ensure that obstacles are removed and adapt the plan to ensure we are delivering our agreed objectives. You will be a natural when it comes to clear planning, control, and reporting at a level expected by senior and external stakeholders. Everything you do will reflect the values and service that we have and complement our wider group strategy and brand. This role will report to the CIO and work closely with the wider management team of the business to support their initiatives. As a part of the management team, you will have a natural desire to succeed and will consistently strive to deliver our company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Management of our Learner Engagement teams to deliver the required learner starts across our Skills Bootcamps, Adult Skills Fund and Private Training programmes.
  • Management of our Progressions and Talent teams to deliver the required learner outcomes and progression rates across our Skills Bootcamps, Adult Skills Fund and Private Training programmes.
  • Agree and monitor marketing plans and expenditure to generate learner applications and employer interest in line with contract requirements.
  • Working in conjunction with our Marketing department to forward plan all marketing learner attraction requirements.
  • To propose, monitor and support the delivery of new initiatives in new or more challenging locations.
  • Work in conjunction with Service Delivery to ensure the required percentage of learners successfully finish and complete their programmes.
  • Works with our Quality & Funding departments in ensuring that our programmes are delivered in line with our high expectations and contractual requirements.
  • Work in conjunction with Quality in owning and delivering on agreed Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) actions.
  • Take the lead on solution selling commercial deals and partnerships to support delivery of budgets.
  • High level awareness of contractual KPIs, and delivering goals on learner/employer voice and case studies to support forward contract extensions and sales collateral.
  • Delivering training as required to the team.
  • Works as part of the Leadership team in upholding our Company Vision and People Development Goals.
  • Achieving KPIs, Quality and Commercial budgets.
  • Delivering Strategic & Operational objectives.
  • Joins Operational and Senior Leader Team meetings.
  • Delivers agreed ad-hoc projects as required.
  • Prepares and runs training sessions as required by the company.
  • Represents and cross sells all business areas.

Candidate Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience within a similar role at a grade 2+ educational or training provider.
  • Expert knowledge in Adult Skills Delivery and Funding Rules – ideally within both Skills Bootcamps and Adult Skills Fund (ASF).
  • Proven track record of success in delivery on adult skills contracts.
  • Financially astute with a natural ability to understand and present detailed funding models, financials and contract KPIs.
  • A natural Leader, with a track record of managing and growing high performing teams.
