Are you looking to continue your career in Pricing and Propositions? If so, we have an exciting role available here at Just Group. This is a great opportunity to join our Retail Retirement Actuarial and Reinsurance team as an Income Pricing Manager, to provide ongoing management and continual development of new business pricing for the retirement income products provided by Just Group. This role will play a key part in supporting the delivery of our overall retirement income strategy, proposing all pricing changes and analysing competitor pricing strategies, trends and tactics in order to maximise our commercial offering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for proposing all pricing changes to retirement income products to ensure we remain competitive within all desired market segments and in line with business plan targets.
  • Communicate and manage relationships with key stakeholders in order to ensure that pricing proposals and strategy are clearly understood and implemented effectively.
  • Implement pricing changes into Just's administration platforms, with communication to relevant stakeholders.
  • Own the production of all relevant pricing management information for internal and external reporting and developing this as required.
  • Contribute to development of the overall Just Retail business plan.
  • Support the development and implementation of new products and enhancements to income products through pricing and market analysis, in order to gain and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Support the delivery of change initiatives where relevant – utilise technology in order to deliver efficient and effective changes to models, tools and processes.
  • Act as the lead for all retirement income pricing related queries.
  • Provide analytical support to the Income product team.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the retirement income sector, the market environment and relative competitive positioning of the products.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience within the UK retirement industry along with an in-depth knowledge of retirement income products, their mechanics and where sales and profit have been a key focus.
  • Experience in product pricing, as well as a proven understanding of the commerciality of annuity products.
  • Actuarial models and interpreting results experience.
  • Proven experience of working in the retail retirement income market.
  • Strong understanding of P&L management and ability to understand and be able to action changes to business plan metrics.
  • Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-moving environment, to tight deadlines.
  • Highly numerate with excellent analysis and problem resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial and product concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to negotiate/influence key internal and external stakeholders across all levels.
