About the role: Just Group is experiencing significant growth through high-value, complex, multi-year projects aimed at transforming customer propositions to support better later life outcomes. Key areas include Defined Benefits pensions, Retail, and HUB distribution teams. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in complex business transformation projects involving outsourcing and third-party delivery across various supply categories such as consulting, finance, marketing, IT, and HR. You will provide business partnering and commercial support for complex sourcing, managing end-to-end procurement processes and developing strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to understand business needs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage third-party risks.
- Lead strategic and tactical sourcing projects across multiple categories, ensuring formal sourcing processes are followed and projects are transitioned effectively to the business and Supplier Relationship Management teams.
- Identify new sourcing initiatives through strong relationships with business leads and change teams.
- Negotiate commercial and contractual terms with third parties.
- Support budget holders to optimize budgets, deliver value, and minimize risks.
- Identify and realize cost savings and cost avoidance, providing MI reports as needed.
- Collaborate with procurement category managers to align transformation projects with broader category strategies and corporate objectives.
- Embed procurement governance in line with company policies and support the development of supplier contract management systems.
- Promote the benefits of procurement engagement within the organization.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in strategic sourcing across multiple categories, especially enterprise-level third-party providers and outsourcers.
- Knowledge of developing sourcing strategies, financial concepts, and business case contributions.
- Background in Financial Services and familiarity with regulatory guidelines (PRA, FCA) are advantageous.
- Experience with S2P or P2P systems and complex transformation projects involving outsourcing and offshoring.
- Strong negotiation, contract drafting, and legal knowledge.
- Proven ability to run complex sourcing events and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent planning, problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Understanding of the supplier market in transformation spaces like IT and consultancy.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with strong report writing and presentation skills.
