Purpose of the role
As the Senior Finance Change Manager you will support the Head of Finance Operations & Regulatory Reporting to lead on multiple significant transformation, continuous improvement and regulatory reporting change initiatives and programmes across the finance function. With the organisation growing exponentially, the use of systems and automation tools must match this change. This role will drive multiple change and improvement initiatives alongside the groupwide finance transformation programme.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Finance Operations Change Agenda transformation initiatives that will improve efficiency, effectiveness and reduce operational risk for the finance team
- Provide strong stakeholder management and influence, leading relationships with Finance Systems and Finance & Group Change teams
- Implement and hold the team accountable for key performance metrics to monitor improvements and report to senior leadership
- Provide support on material finance projects and regulatory changes
- Work successfully with key managers within Actuarial, Finance and the business, ensuring that the team is kept up to date with new products, changing external environment and new front‑end systems
- Motivate, manage and develop a high‑performing team
What we are looking for
- Professional Accountancy Qualification, e.g. ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA is essential
- Significant post‑qualification experience of insurance accounting/ reporting change and transformation is essential
- Experience with system implementation and process improvements
- Strong understanding of finance systems such as Oracle and ideally exposure to tools such as Blackline or Workiva
- IFRS 17 and Solvency II experience
- Excellent knowledge of life accounting and reporting
- Excellent knowledge of data management and analysis
- Knowledge of financial analysis and controls
- Strong experience in partnering with senior stakeholders
- Good problem analysis and pro‑active resolution skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent attention to detail
