Investments Middle Office - Senior Manager (12 month Fixed Term Contract) in England

Purpose of role: We are seeking an Investments Middle Office - Senior Manager, with comprehensive, end‑to‑end expertise in asset onboarding, and deep familiarity with front‑, middle‑ and back‑office system capabilities (IBOR, CBOR, ABOR). Just Group engages in trading OTC bilateral derivatives—primarily interest rate, inflation and cross‑currency products—alongside public credit instruments such as corporate bonds and government securities. Additionally, our in‑house team executes direct private credit and structured transactions. In this role you will bring strong knowledge of industry best practices across the trade lifecycle, including matching and confirmations, settlements and collateral management, ideally with exposure to both the sell‑side (broker) and buy‑side (asset manager or asset owner) environments.

Key responsibilities:

• Uphold data standards, validation rules, and governance frameworks.
• Review custody reconciliations and other critical SOX controls evidence files.
• Manage data mapping and transformation to deliver month‑end efficiency.
• Support production of accurate and timely investment reports delivered to downstream stakeholders.
• Lead or support middle office projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and automation initiatives.
• Provide support and cover for Head of Investment Middle office – including running the timetable for month‑end deliverables.

What we’re looking for:

• Significant experience in investment operations, middle office or a related role within financial services.
• Professional certifications (CFA, CAIA, IMC, or data governance certifications) desirable.
• Strong understanding and experience of investment products (OTC Bilateral Derivatives (primarily Interest Rate, Inflation and Cross‑Currency), Public Credit (Corporate Bonds) and Government Bonds Direct Private Credit/Structured Trades).
• Proven experience in data operations, investment operations, middle office from buy‑side (asset manager or asset owner).
• Proficiency in data management tools and investment systems (e.g., Bloomberg, LSEG Refinitiv).
• Advanced Excel VBA skills; knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data analytics tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements (EMIR, SFTR).
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
