Ready for a challenge? Then Just Eat Takeaway.com might be the place for you. We’re a leading global online delivery platform, and our vision is to empower everyday convenience. Whether it’s a Friday-night feast, a post-gym poke bowl, or grabbing some groceries, our tech platform connects tens of millions of customers with hundreds of thousands of restaurant, grocery and convenience partners across the globe.
About this role: The Discovery Experience is the front door to JET's product - the first thing millions of customers see every time they open the app. Getting it right matters enormously, both for the customer experience and for the commercial performance of the business, and this is the team that owns it. As Senior Group PM for Discovery Experience, you’ll lead a team of PMs across a remit that spans the full Discovery Experience that work with algorithms and AI that power personalisation, to the experiments that prove what actually works, to the longer-term strategic bets that will define how this surface evolves at JET. This is a role with real breadth and genuine complexity. The Discovery Experience sits at the intersection of customer needs, restaurant priorities, and commercial goals - and those don't always point in the same direction. You'll need to make clear, well-reasoned calls about where to focus and bring a range of senior stakeholders with you.
On the experimentation side, there's a significant opportunity to raise the bar - the foundations are there, but JET is on a journey to make testing faster, more rigorous, and more deeply embedded in how product decisions get made.
These are some of the key components to the position:
- Homepage strategy - You will own and guide the product strategy for the Discovery experience, our highest-traffic and most commercially important surface.
- Full product ownership - Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and prioritisation through to delivery and iteration, balancing short-term performance with long-term vision.
- Experimentation - Set the standard for how we run tests in the Discovery experience, using experimentation as a core tool to validate decisions and drive measurable impact.
- Personalisation - This is one of the biggest levers available to the Discovery Experience, and you'll work closely with data science and engineering to shape the models and ranking logic that serve the right experience to the customer at the right moment.
- AI and algorithmic product development - Work closely with data science and engineering to shape the algorithms and AI-powered features that personalise and optimise the Homepage experience at scale.
- Team leadership - Manage and coach a team of product managers, helping them grow into strong, autonomous PMs.
- Stakeholder influence - Work closely with engineering, design, data science, and senior leadership to align on priorities and shape the direction of the Discovery Experience.
- Cross-functional collaboration - Partner across the business to ensure the experience reflects the needs of customers, partners, and commercial goals alike.
What will you bring to the team?
- Product craft - A strong track record of owning and shipping impactful product, with the instincts to know what to build, when, and why.
- Experimentation expertise - Deep experience running rigorous A/B tests and the statistical literacy to design, evaluate, and act on results with confidence.
- AI and algorithmic fluency - Leadership and coaching - Experience managing a team of PMs, with a genuine commitment to developing people and raising the bar.
- Strategic thinking - The ability to zoom out, connect the dots across customer, commercial, and business goals, and turn ambiguity into a clear direction.
- Data fluency - You're comfortable getting into the data yourself, asking the right questions, and building arguments grounded in evidence.
- Influence without authority - You bring people with you through clear thinking, strong communication, and well-reasoned conviction.
- Curiosity about customers - A genuine desire to understand consumer behaviour and use those insights to build a Homepage that works harder for every user.
